How long is the training?
Whether you want to sharpen your skills as a permanent makeup artist or just getting started, Allie Yamaguchi will teach you everything you need to know to begin your career or give you a refresher so you can get started and thrive. If you love transforming faces and helping people get their confidence back, this is the perfect career for you.
Is there anything I need to do prior to taking this course?
Each course had a different variation of time depending on the amount of days or hours spent tackling the basic fundamentals of microblading or machine shading as well as covering theory, product knowledge, procedural protocols, licensing and so much more. To learn more about the expected time for a desired training, please select the course you are interested in below.
Are we required to bring anything?
Prior to taking the course, check your county health department for all tattooing license requirements. Allie Yamaguchi provides a certificate of completion but students are required to apply for a tattoo license in their own County/State to Legally perform this service. This will be covered in the course.
Everything needed for this course will be provided. Please be sure to have the remaining balance for the course in cash. you will be issued a receipt after payment is collected. Water will be supplied but I encourage students to bring snacks.

Practice Kit
Your training of choice will come with the tools necessary to practice the service. You will also receive a PMU machine, doll head, practice skins and other disposables needed to practice at home.
Course Manual
The training manuals were handwritten by Allie from a procedural standpoint through the lenses of an Esthetician with 10 years experience. The manuals include itemized information, practice sheets, visuals and more.
Certificate
A certificate of completion will be issued by Allie Yamaguchi upon completion of the permanent makeup training. This certificate will certify time spent learning this new service.

I took Allies first microblading course back in early 2019. The class was a great introduction into microblading. I was happy that her class was organized, the manual covered all the basics to start, she provided a supply list and practice kit, and her teaching was very clear.
